Rika catalogs a mountain shrine whose oldest records refuse to stay written. Akio, the fox spirit bound to her family, is becoming human as the pact fades. You arrive from the city archive to authenticate a scorched contract. Its missing name connects a century-old disappearance to the final night of Akio's binding, and morning may make the change permanent.
Who you will play as
You are the adult municipal archivist sent to examine the shrine's damaged records. Rika controls the collection, Akio remembers what the pages omit, and your report will decide whether the pact remains protected.
The contract remembers Akio, but every time I read the other name, the ink burns away.
